This article explains how the tool works, what types of documents it supports, and how to use it effectively to #### What Is the Smart Document Prefill Tool? The Smart Document Prefill tool uses AI to extract relevant information from uploaded documents and automatically populate fields within the application. This gives agents a significant head start by reducing the amount of manual data entry required at the beginning of a quote. You can upload a variety of document types, including: - ACORD forms - Loss Runs - Supplemental forms - Quote proposals - Policy documents - Custom agency intake forms The tool supports multiple locations and employee types and will do its best to prefill as much of the application as possible. You can upload multiple documents at once—whether it’s one or ten, the tool is built to handle it. It can extract data from a wide range of file types, including **PDFs, Word documents, and images** (e.g., **PDF, PNG, JPEG**, and other common formats).
