Cowbell - How to Add your Broker Code

What you need
For Cowbell to recognize that a submission belongs to you, you need to upload the following to the Broker Configuration:

• AgencyId: This is a UUID assigned by Cowbell to your Agency. Eg: d509615a-af68-4104-be91-0bc9e97ffb92
• Agency Primary Email : Required by Cowbell to identify the agency that is quoting the business
• Agent Name: Required by Cowbell to ensure the quote proposal has the correct agent name on it

What happens next: CoverForce submits your information to the carrier and works with them to activate your broker code. You'll be able to quote with them once they confirm activation.

1. Hover over the settings gear on the top navigation bar
2. Click on "Broker Configuration"
3. Scroll through the carrier list and select the carrier you’d like to set up
4. Click "Add Broker ID" on the right side of the screen
5. Click the "Broker Code Approval Form" link
6. Complete and submit the Cowbell Broker Code Approval Form

1. Hover over the settings gear on the left navigation bar
2. Click on "Broker Appointments"
3. Either search for or scroll through the carrier list and select the carrier you’d like to set up
4. Click "Add Broker ID" on the right side of the screen
5. Look for the "Enable Digital Quoting" box (blue-green)
6. Click the "Broker Code Approval Form" link inside that box
7. Complete and submit the Cowbell Broker Code Approval Form

Note:

• Cowbell requires enabling the Agency ID to be used for Digital API quoting. Hence you need to reach out to CoverForce to get it enabled before using it on the platform

Where to find it
Currently, in order to quote Cowbell insurance products digitally you need to identify your AgencyId along with the agency's primary email. In order to identify the AgencyId follow these instructions:

• Primary Agency Email: This is the email you used to sign up for the Cowbell appointment
• AgencyId:
  1. You can reach out to your Cowbell contact and ask for your AgencyId
  2. Alternatively you can provide us with the relevant information to find your AgencyId:
     1. Provide the Primary Agency Email and Agency Details (name and address) to us by emailing it to support@coverforce.com
     2. We will identify the AgencyId for your agency
