Crum & Forster - Find Direct Appointment Information

Crum & Forster requires each agency to complete a one-time setup to generate API credentials (a Username, Password, and API Key) for each platform they connect to, including CoverForce.

Step 1: Submit a Broker Code Request

Complete the CoverForce Crum & Forster broker code request form with the following information:

  • Agency Name: The legal name of your agency as it appears on your Crum & Forster appointment
  • Agency Address: Your agency's primary mailing address
  • Agent Email: The email of the primary contact at your agency for this setup

CoverForce will coordinate with Crum & Forster to provision your API credentials.

⚠️ Important: When your credentials are provided, save your Username, Password, and API Key immediately. You will need all three to complete Step 2.

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials in CoverForce

Once you have your credentials, add them to your CoverForce portal under Settings > Broker Configuration > Crum & Forster.

Enter the following:

  • Username: The username set up for API access by Crum & Forster (e.g., ws.youragency_coverforce@youragency.com)
  • Password: The password set up for API access by Crum & Forster
  • API Key: The unique API key assigned to your agency to access the Crum & Forster API
Lost or Missing Credentials

Your Username, Password, and API Key are provided during the initial setup. If you did not save them at that time, or you are unsure whether your agency has completed setup, contact support@coverforce.com and we will coordinate with Crum & Forster on your behalf.
