Start a Quote
- In the Accounts section, click on the customer account, then select New Quote ; OR
- On the header, click New Quote icon (only for existing Customer Accounts)
Select products & carriers
- The Account will pre-fill from whichever account you are currently on.
- Next, you will want to select the appropriate Policy Type from the drop down menu.
- The NAICS Code is searchable and can be entered as a NAICS or SIC Code by toggling over with the Switch to SIC button. You can search by the code number or by text as the search bar is generative (e.g. If you search "candle", it will populate results like "Gift, Novelty, and Souvenir Retailers" and "All Other Home Furnishings Retailers").
- Next, you will select the State.
- By default we will enable all carriers to be part of the submission - donโt worry, as we split out carrier-specific questions on the Submission Form, it will not impact the time it takes to fill out the submission
- Carriers listed Potential Appetite can be deselected if you would not like their carrier specific underwriting questions added
- Carriers Not in Appetite can also be selected, for purposes of acquiring declines, or known information by the agent for a granted exception
A couple of housekeeping items ๐
- You will need to enter a unique email address for each online application. Ideally, you should be entering your customer's email so that it is correct in our systems. Be assured that we will never reach out to the customer on your behalf.
