Markel - Find direct appointment information

What you need

For Markel to recognize that a submission belongs to you, you need to upload the following to the Broker Configuration (Settings > Broker Configuration):

  • AgencyID: This is a numeric code assigned by Markel to the Agency. Eg: 927718.
  • Licensing Agent Username: Required by Markel to identify the agent within the agency who can bind the quote. This is the email of the user who carries the licenses in all the states and has the power to bind a quote
  • Servicing Agent Username: Required by Markel to identify the agent (Email) within the agency where all communication should be sent for a quote. This is the email of the user in mPortal that you want all quote related communication to be forwarded to.

Note:

  • Markel requires enabling the AgencyId to be used for Digital API quoting. Hence you need to reach out to CoverForce to get it enabled before using it on the platform
