Markel E&S - Find direct appointment information

IMPORTANT: Markel E&S requires approval before your broker code can be activated. CoverForce will contact Markel directly on your behalf to obtain the necessary API credentials. See below for how to submit your information.

What you need

To get set up with Markel E&S on CoverForce, you will need to provide the following information:

• Agency Code: A 6-digit numeric code assigned to your agency by Markel E&S. Eg: 211311.
• Producer Email: The email address of the agent/producer at your agency who will be submitting business through the platform. This is required so that your submissions appear under "My Transactions" in the Markel portal.

Note:

• Once your information is submitted, CoverForce will reach out to Markel E&S directly to obtain your agency-specific API credentials. You do not need to contact Markel yourself — we'll handle the full setup and load your broker code into the platform once credentials have been received.

How to submit your information

You have two options:

1. Submit via the platform — In the CoverForce Agent Portal, click the link for Markel E&S under Settings > Broker Configuration to access the Broker Code Approval Form and submit your information directly.
2. Email us — Send your Agency Code and Producer Email to support@coverforce.com.

Where to find your information

• Agency Code:
  • This 6-digit code was assigned to your agency by Markel E&S at the time of your appointment.
  • If you are unsure of your Agency Code, please contact your Markel E&S representative directly.
• Producer Email:
  • This is the email address the producer at your agency uses to log into the Markel portal.
