Pie Insurance - Find direct appointment information

What you need

For Pie Insurance to recognize that a submission belongs to you, you need to upload the following to the Broker Configuration (Settings > Broker Configuration):

• AgencyCode - This is a unique code provided by Pie Insurance to an agency for identification. This is usually an alphabet followed by a series of numbers. Eg: A22341
• Agent Name - Name of the agent appointed in the agency
• Agent Email - Email of the agent appointed in the agency
• API Key - A unique API key generated for your agency to quote digitally

AGENCY CODE:

You can find the Agency Code in the Pie Insurance Agent Portal. The Agency Code is usually displayed on the top next to the Agency Name in braces. If not visible click on User Management in the left nav bar. The resulting page should have the Agency Code on the top next to the Agency Name.

Below is an example screenshot of the Pie Insurance Agent Portal. Highlighted in red (top-center) is the Agency Code for the logged in user. 

API KEY:

In order to generate the API key you need to have an "Admin" role in the agency. Reach out to your Agency administrator or your Pie Insurance contact to ensure you have an Admin role in the Agency. 

To generate the API key follow these steps:

1. Click API Keys in the left Nav and the click "Create API Key" in the top right.
   
2. For API key role select "Admin"
3. Give the API key a label
4. Click Create API Key
5. Copy the API Key you created and use it in the Broker Code form on the platform.
